Bil Lepp has entertained audiences from the Smithsonian to Comedy Central. Come hear this five-time West Virginia Liars Contest-winner spin wild and hilarious yarns that will leave your side aching.

This special free program is a partnership between Timpanogos Storytelling Festival and the Salt Lake County Library Service's Viridian Event Center. The event received support from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Utah Division of Arts and Museums.

Registration Details
To register for the Utah's Biggest Liar contest click hereDeadline for entries are due by Monday, March 14, 2016.  Constentants will be contacted prior to the preliminary contest to schedule a performance onSaturday, March 19, between 3:00-5:00 PM.
 
 
Liars Preliminary Contest
Come watch the performers in the preliminary Liars contest.  The event is free and open to the public.

See the finalists compete and discover who gets crowned Utah's Biggest Liar. These folks are capable of weaving a tale so fantastic that we can't help but believe it! The event is free and open to the public.

This program is supported by the Utah Division of Arts and Museums and the National Endowment for the Arts. The event is a partnership between the Timpanogos Storytelling Institute and Orem Public Library


Other Upcoming Storytelling Activities in Utah

The Weber State University Storytelling Festival is coming up on February 22-24.  This year's lineup includes Timpanogos Storytelling Festival favorites Donald Davis, Carmen Deedy, Bill Harley, and Angela Lloyd.  Many events are free.  Click here for more information. 

Story Crossroads has storytelling events throughout January and February designed to help people create and share their own stories.  The programs are in preparation for a large community storytelling event on April 15-16.  The April event will feature performances from over a hundred Utah residents and visiting storytellers.  Click here for more information and here to volunteer.  All events are free and open to the public.
