FamilySearch Photos and Stories Tutorial

Development on FamilySearch Photos and Stories continues. We are very excited about the progress we are making as well as the increased integration of the tools in Family Tree on FamilySearch. We are also thrilled about the growing number of users and the large numbers of photos that are being added every day.

To help users better understand the process of uploading and tagging photos, we have put together a slide presentation that covers the basics.

FamilySearch Photos Overview (PowerPoint; 12 MB)

This presentation is also a great resource for teaching others about Photos and Stories in a one-on-one or classroom setting.

Click on the PDF version link to view the presentation in your web browser. To download a copy of the presentation (in either PDF or PowerPoint), right-click on the link, select Save file as...and choose a location where you would like the file to be saved. You will need to have either Microsoft PowerPoint or the free Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the downloaded presentation.

Thank you for being a part of the continuing evolution of the Photos and Stories tools. As you meet people that are also interested in sharing ancestor photos, please pass along the web address-www.familysearch.org/photos-so they can join the fun.
